Pope Leo Names Bishop of San Diego
In his first U.S. appointment, Pope Leo XIV named Most Rev. Michael Pham, diocesan administrator, as the seventh Bishop of San Diego. He is the nation’s first Vietnamese American to lead a diocese. Bishop Pham has served our diocese since his priestly ordination in 1999 and has held several leadership posts since then. We rejoice his appointment!
